Platinium FLX plastic is a durable specialty blend. The FLX version is significantly softer and more flexible than standard Platinium. It offers a tacky and extremely grippy feel that performs reliably even in rain, snow, and cold winter weather.

Minimal Skip (Sit-and-Stay): Thanks to its softness and flexibility, the disc absorbs impact energy when it hits the ground. It is less likely to bounce or roll away, instead “sticking” and staying right where it lands – making it an excellent choice for tricky and sloped landing zones.
Slightly Straighter Flight Path: The flexible and soft plastic blend often makes the disc fly slightly straighter or more understable right out of the box compared to stiff premium plastics (such as Premium or Ultrium). A straight disc like the Sparta flies very neutrally and is easy to control in FLX plastic.
Top-Tier Durability: Although the plastic is soft and flexible, it is highly resilient as a premium-grade material. The disc can handle hard hits against trees and rocks without the rim chipping or the flight characteristics changing quickly.
